Ian (colleague, has not yet received an amendment or indeed an extension on his current contract) phones Phil at the agency, who is both his agent and mine, to ask what’s going on with this amendment business.
Phil says “I don’t know anything about that, you’d have to speak to my manager.”
Fair enough, you might think, unless you’d seen the name and signature on the bottom of my amendment…
